A fire at a warehouse. A cyclone warning. A factory shutdown. A safety recall that affects tonight's shift. When a crisis hits a distributed frontline workforce, the corporate communication stack - email, intranet, town halls - reaches almost nobody in time.

The three requirements of frontline crisis comms

  1. Reach in minutes, verifiably. You need delivery and read confirmation per person - not "we posted it on the notice board." A blast into an unmanaged WhatsApp group tells you nothing about who actually saw it; informal groups fail precisely when stakes are highest.
  2. Two-way by default. Crises are information-gathering problems as much as broadcast problems. Workers on the ground know which road is flooded and which line is down before HQ does.

Before: build the pipes in peacetime
